Staging ground This starts the final week of summer before we fly to Portugal. I'm madly cramming in as many errands and purchases as I can this week, because as of September 21 I am going to be ALL consumed with supporting the kids remote learning through Arlington Public Schools. Dana is starting 7th grade, Anthony 4th, Miriam 3rd, and Lydia Kindergarten. I can't envision what online K is going to look like... Today we got word from Rich's mom that she checked into the town's preschool program and she can enter at any time by showing her cartao de cididao (Citizenship card) and she can go 5 days per week, 9:30-3:30, lunch included. Yes please, sign us up! Also, the older 3 can all enter public school and would be provided an English speaking assistant if they chose to enroll. All they would need is their transcripts and citizen cards to enroll. On the other hand, if they don't enroll in public school, I need to prove they are enrolled elsewhere. Not sure how acc...
